At Springwood Upholstery, we specialise in designing and manufacturing bespoke divan beds, handcrafted to order in our Hampshire workshop. Every bed is individually made to suit your exact requirements, ensuring the perfect balance of comfort, style and functionality.
Unlike mass-produced furniture, there are no standard frames or off-the-shelf sizes. Each piece is built from scratch, allowing complete flexibility in dimensions, upholstery and finishing details.

Divan Bed
Standard. Available in a selection of standard fabrics, with bespoke upholstery and leg options available upon request.Handcrafted using traditional upholstery techniques, our beds are carefully constructed to provide exceptional comfort, support, and durability. Each piece can be tailored with different levels of padding and internal depth, using a selection of premium filling materials to achieve the desired feel and level of comfort.

Available in a selection of standard fabrics, with bespoke upholstery options available upon request.Storage drawer configurations can be customised to provide convenient and discreet additional storage without compromising the overall appearance or proportions of the bed. Different levels of padding, internal depth, and filling materials can also be specified to achieve the desired level of comfort — from soft and plush to medium or firmer support.
Bespoke Four-Poster Divans
We have extensive experience in producing bespoke divans for four-poster beds, working with both antique frames and newly commissioned designs. Each piece is individually made to order, whether produced from on-site measurements, technical drawings, or client specifications.
Careful consideration is given to all proportions, clearances, and structural details to ensure a precise fit within the existing frame and a seamless final appearance. With no standard sizing restrictions, every divan is completely bespoke and tailored to the individual project.

Bespoke Mattresses
Every mattress is handcrafted using high-quality natural materials and tailored to the exact dimensions and specifications of the bed.
Different comfort levels can be achieved, from softer and more luxurious feels to medium or firmer support, depending on individual preference. Because every piece is made to order, our mattresses are particularly well suited to fully bespoke beds and specialist sizing requirements.
Mattresses are individually made to complement each divan perfectly
